Ask any one of my family members what they want for dinner and 9 times out of 10 the answer will be “PIZZA! PIZZA! PIZZA!” (The other time it’s McDonald’s. My life is so glamorous.)

Isaac even loves it. (Yes, I know he’ll only be 9 months old on Saturday. He’s a fourth child. And he desperately wants to eat what we eat at dinner. So don’t judge.)

So once a week I call Adam and beg ask him to bring dinner home. I save that call for a day when I really have NO ability to get dinner made and still keep my sanity. The problem is that the pizza places around our house are either expensive, specialty pizza restaurants or college-budget chains. And while I would love the first, our budget (and honestly the rest of my family) prefers the second.

Therefore, once a week I feed my kids take-out pizza made with who-knows-what ingredients. Which totally doesn’t jive with my plan for the other 6 nights a week.

Want to know what I did last night? I popped in two frozen pizzas instead of calling Adam to bring home that chain pizza.

I know you just thought “EWWW. Frozen pizza.” Don’t lie.

But wait! This frozen pizza didn’t come on cardboard. precooked Home Run Inn pizza

I’ve never seen frozen pizza START OUT looking this good. We tried a thick crust sausage and a classic crust meat lover’s. And check it out cooked:

I’ve never tasted frozen pizza this good. It doesn’t taste like frozen pizza, you guys. Home Run Inn pizza is now my favorite frozen pizza. For reals. I actually prefer it over the chain pizza.

And not just because of the taste. Home Run Inn pizza is all natural and made with real cheese, no preservatives. And meat with NO nitrites or nitrates. Home Run Pizza ingredients

So the next time you’re at a local Indianapolis Kroger, Meijer or Marsh, grab a few Home Run Inn frozen pizzas for those crazy evenings when you need a quick and easy dinner and you’re tempted to have chain pizza. There are a TON of topping options to make everyone at your table happy (even you). You’ll thank me, I promise.

So tell me, what do you look for in a frozen pizza? I bet you’ll find it with Home Run Inn pizzas. 🙂

I love frozen pizza – for real, although we rarely have it. I save it for “special” occasions, also known as “when mom and dad leave and you have a babysitter”. Anyway, I’ve never had Home Run Inn, I’ll give it a whirl next time.
