It’s hard to believe it’s already been a month since Isaac was born. It really doesn’t seem possible that the first month of his life is already complete. He’s gained almost 2 pounds this month. Luckily, I have not.
I feel like I should be in such a better place – that my house should be cleaner, that this transition for our family should be much further along. I’m thankful for all the help we’ve received – the countless meals that have been delivered, the phone calls and check-ins to make sure I’m sane. It’s been invaluable.
One thing I’ve been trying to do to aid in this transition is to try to get things back to “normal” as much as possible. Taking Lucas to school and to the park. Getting Cami back to violin lessons. Trying to have fun with Alaina and having Adam go to field day with her this last week.
As a family, we really do love being out and about when the weather allows. Taking Isaac along has been a struggle, with his eating schedule and the crazy weather we’ve had. But I’m determined to make this summer a great one – and that won’t happen if I’m cooped up inside the house with my other kids dying to go be active outside of our property lines.
So one of the first things we’re doing is going to Family Night at an Indians baseball game at Victory Field with Indiana’s Family of Farmers (IFOF) on Tuesday, June 11th. And they want YOU to join us!
IFOF has a 4-pack of tickets for one lucky reader to attend the game and dine with them in the In-Game Picnic in Coors Light Corner. Enter below!
Details: The winner will be chosen and contacted via email on Thursday, June 6th (so please make sure your email address is included in at least one of your comments below so I can reach you). The winner will have 24 hours to reply or another winner will be chosen. No exceptions.
Head over to the following local blogs for additional chances to win tickets:
You’ll want to stay tuned over the next two weeks. I have a bunch of fun things to share with you that I’m really excited about! But only one at a time, so you have to wait a few days to hear more details. 🙂
